In 2011 GRAFX CO. recruited designer, illustrator, and friend, Rik Oostenbroek to help create this uniquely fluid main title sequence for a BET awards show full branding pitch. Loud colors, strange shapes, and a concise narrative come together to create a visually stunning journey into the world of BET.
A mash-up of 3D, 2D, and motion design, the bright colors, fantastical landscapes, and unique inhabitants, come together to bring a sense of wonder, joy, and hope to the proceedings. Including opening animation, lower-thirds, transitions, and awards category animation.
