For the opening musical number of the 42nd CMA’s featuring Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, two of Country music’s biggest stars, GRAFX CO. produced all on-stage visuals.
Creating a scrolling video that played behind the action for the entirety of the performance, Grafx tells an illustrated tale of the lives of the two stars.
From childhood memories, to breaking into the Country scene, all the way to them coming together for that exact performance. Subtle motion and a slow tempo hide the many layers of animation involved in the video, which may require repeat viewings to catch.
GRAFX CO. also designed and produced the on-stage visuals for Lady Antebellum’s performance at the 42nd CMA’s. Following the song’s themes of love, the video featured a giant marquee billboard of the word LOVE, joined by a host of other lights, flashing excitedly along with the beat.
