Country Music Awards
The 2008 Country Music Association Awards, 42nd Annual Ceremony, was held on November 12, 2008, at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee and was hosted by CMA Award winner Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Kenny Chesney and Sugarland led the night with 6 nomination each.

Opening Act
For the opening musical number of the 42nd CMA’s featuring Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, two of Country music’s biggest stars, I designed and animated all on-stage visuals. Creating a scrolling video that played behind the action for the entirety of the performance, I told an illustrated tale of the lives of the two stars.

From childhood memories, to breaking into the Country scene, all the way to them coming together for that exact performance. Subtle motion and a slow tempo hide the many layers of animation involved in the video, which may require repeat viewings to catch.
