Over the course of a few days in 2019 Dolce & Gabbana displayed their couture line at numerous iconic locations in New York City. From a major fashion show at the MET, a floor level fashion show at their Mercer Street boutique in Soho, to an after party at the world famous Boom Boom Room, GRAFX CO. was there to capture it all.
Under the leadership of our Executive Producer Simona Della Porta, we filmed the entire event with Social Media in mind, the quick edits and vibrant audio aimed to capture the excitement and prestige of these events. Getting straight to the point, and keeping everything wrapped-up in a digestible timeframe.
Situated on the eighteenth-floor at the Standard Hotel in NYC's fashionable meatpacking district, the Boom Boom Room is an exclusive club famous for it's exuberant style and celebrity clientele. With an intimate performance from Rita Ora, the elite of the fashion world rubbed shoulders and partied in usual Dolce & Gabbana style.
The home of D&G's streetwear lines, this boutique lies in the heart of NYC's trendy Soho district. Featuring a multi-ethnic lineup of models, this floor level show displayed the latest in D&G fashions. With a surprise visit from Naomi Campbell, a live DJ, and a catered food-truck, the show was a great success.
With the changing seasons comes the release of new collections. This calls for a change in inventory in store and with that comes a new fantastical window display. GRAFX CO. was tasked with filming the epic task of removing, and rebuilding the main window arrangements. Designed over the course of weeks, the entire storefront is changed overnight in a colossal effort between craftsmen, and store employees.
The flagship store located on 5th Avenue, and one on Madison Avenue in the heart of Manhattan were the focus of the redesign. Filmed on the same night, the complete overhaul of the storefront windows was a sight to behold.
This is the transition from Winter to Spring at the 5th Avenue Flagship store. Another overnight transformation and video production.
Production at it's best! Creating a fun, easy to watch, on-point social media content is not as easy as it looks. During an overnight transformation of an entire storefront, our professional production crew knows how to blend in and record the best footage possible.
GRAFX CO. and Dreamspace team are in talks with the fashion giant about future technologies. Our main focus is use of Augmented Reality in marketing and Socal Media Gaming. Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are well-known with their unconventional talent and passion for always having fun. We created 3D character models of both designers based on the life-size mascots, approved by the fashion moguls themselves. Knowing their love of fun, we created fully functioning rigs to enable us to place D&G in any location or situation. Using landmarks close to our Downtown office location, we created AR tests and currently developing a fun social media AR game concept.
