Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a physician-led nonprofit teaching hospital affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine, has been a cornerstone of Massachusetts healthcare since its founding in 1923.
The campaign, titled Journey of the Pill, was designed to highlight Lahey Health’s commitment to personalized medicine, patient-centric care, and the deep dedication of its medical professionals. The core narrative follows a symbolic “pill” as it traverses a journey through the healthcare ecosystem, representing each patient’s unique experience.

GRAFX Co. developed a cohesive visual system deeply rooted in Lahey Health’s brand identity. The chosen color palette, green, white, and black, was intentionally selected to honor the hospital’s historic New England roots while ensuring clarity and consistency across both clinical and public-facing materials. The campaign consisted of a series of commercials, each crafted to highlight Lahey’s dedication to compassionate, personalized care.
The Journey of the Pill campaign effectively bridged the gap between emotional resonance and scientific clarity. By combining cinematic live-action production with tasteful 3D animation, GRAFX Co. helped Lahey Health showcase their legacy of care, commitment to innovation, and mission to treat every patient as an individual, not a number.
The campaign was distributed across digital, broadcast, and in-hospital media environments, delivering a cohesive message to patients, families, and medical professionals throughout the region.
