Digital Taffy is a vibrant, fully 3D animated artwork created through a unique collaboration between designer Rik Oostenbroek, production studio PixelFire, and the animation team at GRAFX Co. Commissioned as a centerpiece for the AON Center in Chicago, this looping digital installation transformed the building’s entrance into an immersive visual experience.

Spanning 840 square feet across two towering LED screens, with a walkway dividing them, Digital Taffy surrounded visitors in flowing color, organic motion, and kinetic sculptural forms. Our team brought Oostenbroek’s abstract concept to life through high-end 3D animation and meticulous motion design, ensuring the artwork felt dynamic, fluid, and endlessly engaging as guests passed through the space.
The result is a seamless fusion of digital art, architectural scale, and immersive storytelling, an installation that elevates the lobby environment and showcases the power of large-format 3D animation in public spaces.
